"Rises above caricatures to offer potent and often moving commentary on the gulf between validation and affection, and the way intimacy and solitude have always been bedfellows.” — Empire

Sweat covers three days in the life of Sylwia Zajac, a 30-year-old fitness motivator who has gained celebrity status due to her avid use of social media. Self-made and hardworking, Sylwia keeps her body in the best possible shape and inspires thousands of others to do the same. When a post she makes about feeling lonely goes viral, a stalker appears outside her apartment.

Sweat looks at the relationship an influencer has to their hyper-real online identity, and the juggling act of maintaining a persona for public consumption while protecting her private sense of self. As Sylwia counts down the days to when she will appear on morning television - her biggest break to date - she contends with these issues in the way she deals with the people around her, from her family to her anonymous stalker. Actor Magdalena Kolesnik does an outstanding job playing Sylwia, portraying a character whose total commitment to her online identity is starting to wane.
