“A deeply visceral exploration of how the spirit of a city manifests not just through its buildings and artifacts, but through the people who live there now.” - Point of View Magazine

Do Jewish ghosts haunt Warsaw’s Muranow district? Many current Polish residents believe this to be the case. Once the heart of Warsaw’s Jewish life, Muranow became the Warsaw ghetto, was subsequently destroyed during the war, and later rebuilt on the site of its destruction. In this absorbing documentary, current residents of this green and rehabilitated neighbourhood discuss the spectre of its former residents. Many see them as a reminder of the life, culture and memories of the Jewish past.
