Sonya Veroncia's French jazz Quartet
The Story
The Sonya Veronica Quartet is coming back at Lido Jazz Room! This time Sonya will be joined by Mark Fitzgibbon on piano and Howard Cairns on double bass. This is a special day, marking a reunion for Sonya, Mark and Howard since their last collaboration a few years back. Alex Spicer is back on drums.
The quartet will explore and interpret a beloved selection of French tunes, mixed with a few jazz standards, from Serge Gainsbourg to Paul Misraki, and Edith Piaf to Richard Rogers.
